Know before you go. Here are some travel tips that you should keep in mind to make your Hawaiian Vacation a smooth and enjoyable experience.

CLIMATE AND WEATHER
The average daytime temperature is 85 degrees F (29.4 C). Temperatures at night are approximately 10 degrees F. lower (-12.2 C).

The islands are an incredible collection of many diverse micro-environments, each with its own unique weather, plants and animals. For the most part, Hawaii’s weather remains constantly sunny. However, don’t be surprised if a light tropical rain cools off your day.

WHAT TO WEAR
For travel to Hawaii, casual and lightweight clothing is recommended. Comfortable casual wear – shorts, sandals, comfortable shoes, bathing suits and cover-ups is the daytime attire. This attire should also be appropriate for recreation and sightseeing activities.

AIRPORT CHECK-IN
Upon arrival at the airport, please check-in at the airline check-in counter to receive your boarding pass. Upon check-in, you will be asked to present a picture ID (i.e. driver’s license). Please be sure that you have a current driver’s license or other government issued photo ID with you. You will need both your photo ID and your boarding pass to go through security to the boarding gates. It is recommended that you arrive at the airport two (2) hours prior to your flight departure time to allow enough time for check-in and airport security procedures.

LUGGAGE
When packing your carry-on luggage, be sure to include all prescription medicines, valuables, and a change of clothing. Don’t forget to leave extra space for gifts to take home!
